Root canal therapy
Our philosophy on root canal procedures at West Fort Worth Endodontics is simple: the less invasive, the better. That’s why we use the GentleWave® machine on nearly all of our root canal therapy procedures.
During a root canal therapy procedure, we’ll remove infected pulp tissue using fluid dynamics and broad range soundwaves to get the cleanest possible root canal we can. Then, we’ll seal the canal to prevent reinfection from occuring. By investing in the top endodontic technology out there, we’re confident that you’ll have the best experience possible at West Fort Worth Endodontics.
Apicoectomy
Sometimes a typical root canal procedure doesn’t go far enough in treating the patient properly. Every once in a while, we’ll need to remove the tip of the root of your tooth to prevent further infection. This is called an apicoectomy, and while it’s not a surgical procedure we do often, we take very seriously the ones we do have to do.
Using advanced imaging technology, we’ll pinpoint exactly where the pain and discomfort are coming from so that we have the clearest guide on how to best save your tooth. Our years of experience and dedication to excellent results will make sure your time with us is the best it can possibly be.
Dental Pain Diagnosis
This is actually the first thing we do for any patient who comes to West Fort Worth Endodontics. If you’re experiencing tooth pain or something not feeling right with your teeth, we have the expertise and technology needed to figure out exactly what’s going on. Our staff uses advanced imaging technology like the Carestream 8200 Cone Beam CT 3D imaging system to get a full picture of your oral condition. Then, your board-certified endodontist will tell you exactly what steps need to be taken to ensure you’re getting the best care possible.
Root canal retreatment
In the off-chance that a root canal procedure does get reinfected, we’ll also use our GentleWave® technology to reclean the affected root canal and remove any damaged tissue. While inspecting the canal, we’ll be able to determine what may have caused the previous root canal failure so we can give you the tools you need to prevent it in the future.
Nobody wants to have a root canal retreatment, so our goal is to get it right using advanced imaging, diagnosis and cleaning technology.
Cracked tooth management
If you’re experiencing a cracked tooth, you know just how painful and uncomfortable the situation is. We’ll treat your tooth with the utmost care and provide you with the resources to manage care of that tooth in the future so you won’t have to experience that discomfort any further.
